What's Happening with Peanut?
- Peanut has started to develop reflexes.
- His/Her fingers are opening, toes are curling, and that tiny mouth is making sucking motions
- Meanwhile, nerve cells are multiplying rapidly, and in Peanut's brain, synapses are forming furiously. His face looks unquestionably human: His eyes have moved from the sides to the front of his head, and his ears are right where they should be.
- From crown to rump, Peanut is just over 2 inches long and weighs half an ounce.
What's Happening with Mama?
- Sickness: None. (Keeping fingers crossed it stays that way)
- Weight gain: 4 pounds
- Mood swings: Still hanging around, although nearly as severe as last week. It is amazing what a good nigh's sleep will do for one's mood.
- Food cravings: Mashed potatoes and creamed spinach
- Sleep: I slept better during the night this week, and did not have take more than a 30 minute nap on Sudnay.
What's happening with Daddy?
- Daddy is close to completing the State Patrol office he has been working on for over a year. The school that he is building is slowly making progress.
- Daddy has done a great job of helping Mama with the household chores - even going so far as to fold several loads of laundry and shampoo the carpets.
Next week, Mama and Daddy will go back to the doctor for a check up and hopefully will get to hear Peanut's heartbeat on the doppler.
